Chapter 1: You Saved My Life

“Hey Kitten” Monica spoke walking up to her boyfriend, wrapping her arms around his neck.
“Hey baby” He pecked his lips against hers.
They both walked hand in hand down the long empty hallway. The last bell just rang and some kids were left scrambling off to their buses, but not Jordan. He was heading to the pool for swim team practice. He was just walking Monica to her Glee Club. Monica was an excellent singer and her singing was the one thing that brought her to the top.
They both reached the end of the end of the hallway, both of them sighing. Here was where he drops her off. Jordan smiled as he pecked her lips one last time for right now.
“Bye. See you in an hour!” He let her go. She walked up to the door opening it, disappearing instantly.
Jordan turned around and walked back down that same hallway, alone now. He passed by empty classrooms, teachers waving bye to him as they leave. He didn’t encounter anyone else, he just stared ahead waiting for the pool to appear!

Jordan soon saw two glass doors appear in the distance. That was the pool! From a distance he could see a kid sitting at the edge of the pool. As soon as he opened the doors and walked in the kid turned towards him horrified. He was as white as a ghost with dark brown hair that hangs past his eyes. He was beautiful to Jordan.
“HEY JORDAN!” One of the kids on his swim team yells. ”Look at the new kid over there” He points to the kid he saw as I walked in.
“Why? … What did you guys do?” He asks, concerned.
“Nothing Captain.” He soothes Jordan down. “… he wants to join the team.” Jordan smiles, blocking out the laughs from his teammates.
“If he wants to join.. I’ll give him a tryout!” Jordan smiles as he walks over to the boy, everyone else following
